January 20, 2010: Office of Clean Energy has Announced Deadlines for Bidders in the SREC-Based Financing Program
The next solicitation for the SREC-Based Financing Program has bids due on March 5, 2010. As a condition of qualification for the SREC-Based Financing Program (“Program”), solar projects must have successfully completed the Initial Application process under the Renewable Energy Incentive Program (“REIP”) or the SREC Registration Program (“SRP”), and received an Initial Application Number.
For a solar project to be able to obtain an NJCEP Application Number in time for the March 2010 solicitation under the Program, an applicant must provide a complete package to NJCEP by the following deadlines:
- REIP: Thursday, February 4th
- SRP: Thursday, February 18th

Applications to NJCEP received after these dates are not guaranteed to receive their NJCEP Application Number in time for the upcoming solicitation under the SREC-Based Financing Program.
